Day 1: Arrival in Aswan & Aswan Highlights

Welcome to Aswan, the beautiful gateway to ancient Nubia!
  • Arrival & Check-in: Upon your arrival at Aswan Airport or Train Station, you will be met by your expert guide who will escort you to begin a full day of touring.
  • Modern Engineering: The day starts with a visit to the impressive High Dam, a pivotal construction project of modern Egypt.
  • Ancient Quarries: Next, explore the granite quarries to view the immense Unfinished Obelisk, which offers incredible insight into the stone-cutting techniques of the pharaohs.
  • Philae Temple: Take a scenic motorboat ride to Philae Temple, also known as the "Temple of Love," beautifully dedicated to the Goddess Isis and relocated to its current stunning location on Agilkia Island.
  • Nile Relaxation: In the afternoon, enjoy a peaceful Felucca Ride (traditional sailboat) around Elephantine Island and Kitchener Botanical Island, viewing the Agha Khan Mausoleum.
  • Overnight: Check into your luxurious Nile Cruise ship. Enjoy lunch, dinner, and an overnight stay onboard in Aswan.

Day 02: Abu Simbel (Optional Tour) & Kom Ombo Temple

A key day featuring the colossal temples in the south and sailing north along the river.
  • Breakfast & Sailing: Enjoy breakfast served onboard your cruise ship.
  • Abu Simbel (Optional Tour - Extra Cost): You have the option to take an unforgettable early morning excursion to the colossal Abu Simbel Temples. Witness the magnificent rock-cut temples of Ramses II and his beloved wife Nefertari before returning to the cruise for lunch.
  • Sail North: The ship begins sailing north towards Luxor.
  • Kom Ombo Temple: Stop sailing to visit the unique Kom Ombo Temple, which is dedicated to two gods—Sobek (the crocodile god) and Haroeris (the falcon god).
  • Overnight: Enjoy dinner and onboard entertainment as the ship continues sailing towards Edfu.

Day 03: Edfu Temple & Luxor's East Bank Majesty

Today you'll visit one of the best-preserved temples before reaching the historic capital of ancient Egypt.
  • Edfu Temple: After breakfast, start your morning tour with a traditional horse-drawn carriage ride to the remarkably preserved Edfu Temple, dedicated to the Falcon God Horus.
  • Sailing & Lock Crossing: Return to the cruise and continue sailing towards Luxor, passing through the famous Esna Lock (subject to navigation schedules).
  • Luxor's East Bank: In the afternoon, upon arriving in Luxor, start your tour of the awe-inspiring East Bank where you will visit:
    • Luxor Temple: Explore the elegant temple of the God Amun Re, which is particularly magical when illuminated at night.
    • Karnak Temple: Discover the immense Karnak Complex, the largest religious structure ever built and a sprawling testament to pharaonic power.
  • Overnight: Dinner and overnight stay onboard, docked in Luxor.

Day 04: The West Bank of Luxor & Final Departure

The final day is dedicated to the royal necropolis, the burial grounds of the great pharaohs.
  • Breakfast & Check-out: Enjoy your final breakfast onboard your cruise ship and complete the check-out procedure.
  • Luxor West Bank: Begin your final tour on the West Bank of Luxor, the City of the Dead:
    • Valley of the Kings: Explore the legendary burial site where pharaohs, including Tutankhamun, were laid to rest in richly decorated tombs (includes entry to three selected tombs).
    • Temple of Hatshepsut: Visit the striking terraced Mortuary Temple of Queen Hatshepsut at Deir el-Bahari, dedicated to one of Egypt's most powerful female rulers.
    • Colossi of Memnon: Stop for a photo opportunity at the two gigantic seated statues of Amenhotep III, the Colossi of Memnon.
  • Departure: You will then be transferred to Luxor Airport, the Railway Station, or your chosen hotel for your onward journey.
